Here is a little bit about myself
I was born in Edmonton, but my family moved to Camrose when I was just a year and a half old. Having lived here for over 40 years, this community is entirely sewn into who I am. I went to Our Lady of Mount Pleasant and St. Patrick schools, and graduated from ECCHS. Over the decades, I’ve lived in countless houses across different subdivisions in the city and out at Tillicum Beach on Dried Meat Lake. When I say I know Camrose and its surrounding communities inside and out, I truly mean it.Growing up, it felt like we were always living in the middle of a renovation project. That’s where I first learned the ins and outs of the renovation process and developed a lifelong love for transforming properties.Before transitioning into real estate, I spent 20 years in the hair industry. I graduated from Marvel College as the valedictorian of my class and went on to own and operate three different hair salons between 2007 and 2020. Alongside my career behind the chair, I also served in the Reserves with the Canadian Forces from 2002 to 2020. During my service, I held roles in Administration, Training, Supply, Standards, and Range Safety, ultimately retiring as the Commanding Officer of the 3068 SALH RCACC right here in Camrose.After multiple wrist surgeries, I knew it was time for a new professional path. Real estate was a natural pivot for me, especially with my roots in renovations.
I am naturally energetic, detail-oriented, and driven by a mindset of always learning. I earned my residential license in May 2019 and quickly went on to complete advanced licensing for Farms & Agribusiness, Property Management, and Commercial Real Estate, finally earning my Broker’s License in 2024.
I spent seven years with my previous office, serving as their FINTRAC Officer for four of those years and the Associate Broker for two. On May 1, 2026, I took a major leap and opened my own independent brokerage, Aurora Rose Realty. My business is entirely client-focused, built on strong communication, organization, and great time management. My goal is to prioritize quality over quantity, treating every client and property with the unique attention they deserve.On the personal side, I am lucky enough to be married to my longtime school crush—I've known him since we were five years old! We started dating in 2004, married in 2010, and have brought three amazing daughters into the world (born in 2008, 2011, and 2014). Between all their dance schedules and my oldest now stepping into adult life, our house is always full of energy. Together, my husband and I have bought and renovated three homes, and I even took on the role of general contractor to build one of our houses from the ground up.
When I’m not working, I'm usually trying to soak up every bit of life. I love to travel—especially anywhere tropical or exploring Europe—and I love to dance, draw, camp, and spend time outdoors. More than anything, my favorite moments are the simple ones spent hanging out with my family, getting together with good friends, or just relaxing on our back deck.For me, life has always been about the people and the places that make us feel at home. After forty years in Camrose, I don’t just work in this community—I’ve built my life, my family, and my businesses here. Whether we're talking about renovations, real estate, or just the best spots around town, I’m always down for a real conversation.
